Andrew Ross works across sculpture, painting, photography, and digital fabrication. His constructions bring bodily forms, everyday objects, and architectural fragments into arrangements that feel both familiar and unsettled. Handmade processes and computer-based techniques meet in works that examine how images become objects, and how objects carry meaning.

For Bucket of Truth at Kai Matsumiya in 2023, Ross combined painting and collage with images of fruit, hands, family photographs, and computer-generated spaces. In more recent sculpture, he has translated the movement of wrestling figures through clay, digital modeling, and carved wood. Across these changes of material and scale, the body remains a point of departure for structures that resist a single reading.

Born in Miami in 1989, Ross lives and works in New York. He received his BFA from The Cooper Union in 2011 and attended the Skowhegan School of Painting and Sculpture that year. His exhibitions include presentations at Kai Matsumiya, Clima, American Medium, Purchase College, Sarah Lawrence College, and Thomas Erben Gallery. He has participated in exhibitions at The Drawing Center, the Hessel Museum of Art, The Studio Museum in Harlem, Artists Space, and Greene Naftali.
