Biography
Jan Kiefer (born 1979, Trier, Germany) lives and works in Basel, Switzerland. His paintings and objects draw on familiar symbols and everyday forms. He completed his master’s degree at the Academy of Art and Design in Basel in 2012 and received the Swiss Art Award in 2016.
